Detroit Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection to a fatal shooting on the city’s east side.
The shooting happened on Friday, Feb. 19, at around 11:20 a.m. in the area of I-94 & E Outer Drive.
According to police, the unidentifiable male victim was sitting in the driver’s seat of a silver Ford Fusion parked at a gas pump, when a Chevrolet Suburban or Tahoe pulled alongside his vehicle, and an unknown armed male suspect inside rear passenger fired multiple shots into his vehicle.
After the shooting, the suspect vehicle drove away then returned moments later and fired additional shots into the vehicle, fatally wounding the victim, police said.
