A 25-year-old man was shot in front of his wife and 5-month-old son during a traffic road rage incident in Mogi das Cruzes on Sunday night.
According to police, the shooter was a 28-year-old financial administrator, who was arrested at the scene.
The police reported that at around 7 pm, the victim approached the shooter at the intersection of Frederico Straube and Francisco Assis Monteiro de Castro streets, in Vila Oliveira.
The video from a CCTV camera shows that the victim, Ricardo de Oliveira Penha Soares, got out of the vehicle and went to the window of the other driver, Iago Alves de Oliveira.
Shortly thereafter, the victim's wife approaches with the baby on her lap. In the middle of the discussion and without getting out of the car, Oliveira fires and the victim falls.
Still holding the child, the victim's wife tried to stop the husband's blood with his hands until the arrival of the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu).
Police arrested Oliviera for attempted homicide and he was imprisoned until the end of the morning of this Monday. The 380 caliber pistol has was registered to the shooter.
The victim was taken to Luzia de Pinho Melo Hospital where she was hospitalized in serious condition.
