Hadil, a 19-year old Saudi girl from Riyadh had been stabbed six times by her own brother in an act called “Honor Killing” for revealing herself on TikTok.
The video posts led to her brother stabbing her to death. However, the mother immediately dropped all the charges against Hadil’s brother. Instead, the family is now desperately trying to remove all of Hadil’s videos on TikTok and managed to replace some with Islamic content.
Currently, Hadil’s brother remains free. With her mother dropping all charges, authorities have no jurisdiction to arrest her brother.
