An apartment in house number 62 caught fire - three children were left at home alone and set fire to the sofa. The neighbors tried to break down the front door, but they failed.

Then three men climbed the drainpipe to the third floor. A video posted on social media shows them pulling children out of the window, from which smoke is pouring. Downstairs, they were assisted by two more people.

The fire was extinguished by the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations who arrived at the scene.

The representative of the regional emergency services told RIA Novosti that there are four children in the family.

"According to one of the versions, the mother went for a walk with her fourth child, and left the children with her roommate. He, in turn, left the children alone, locking the apartment outside," said the agency's interlocutor. The regional headquarters of the Investigative Committee reported that they had begun an audit against the bodies of the system for the prevention of neglect, as they received information that shortly before the fire, the family was removed from the register. The prosecutor's office also conducts a check.
