ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WZTV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department released chilling 911 calls and body camera video from officers who responded to a workplace shooting at Smile Direct Club early Tuesday morning.
"I have a security officer shot!" a caller says to dispatch.
Three people were injured in the shooting—one of them remains critical.
The gunman, 22-year-old Antonio D. King, was shot and killed by police.
Police said King was a dayshift employee at the warehouse. He opened fire at the manufacturing facility on Antioch Pike during a shift change.
Body camera video shows MNPD Officers Dylan Ramos and Cherell Kinchloe commanding King to drop his gun after spotting him on Antioch Pike and Franklin Limestone Road.
"Drop the weapon!" Officer Ramos can be heard saying to King.
King pointed his weapon at police, and officers fired. Police rendered aid to the suspect, who was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and later died from his injuries.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
