This was the strange scene from Currys PC World when a manager let go of an employee for having an afro. The manager told him he needed to straighten it to make it look neater.
Here is the conversation:
Manager: You need to get your hair combed or are you going from that afro look on purpose?
Afro dude: I need to get my hair combed?
Manager: Well, I mean, at least straightened. It looks like you basically stuck your finger in an electric socket and not left.
Afro dude: Oh I see.
Manager: Your hair looks frizzy. It's the nicest way I can put it.
