Then, once people started catching COVID even after 2 doses, they moved the goalposts to 'you can get sick but won't end up in the hospital,' which quickly fell apart as Isreal and Iceland's hospitals filled up with fully vaccinated patients. Then the narrative switched once again to 'at least you won't die.'
