NEW YORK — A student was pistol-whipped and mugged following a verbal fight at a Newburgh City school, video of the incident shows.
Police say the assault took place on October 26, after a verbal confrontation at school escalated on the way home.
Video shows a group of teens, believed to be high school students, attacking the teenager, punching him and kicking as he lay on the ground.
One of the suspects even had a gun and pistol whipped the teen twice in the head.
The 16-year-old boy was also robbed of his phone during the attack.
