The name of Lucio Dupuy has crossed borders. Well, what happened to this child of only 5 years has not only hit and shocked his native Argentina but also other countries where his sad story has become known.
The incident occurred last Friday, November 26 at night, inside a home located in the Argentine province of La Pampa. A 24-year-old woman named Magdalena Espósito Valiente and her girlfriend, a 27-year-old girl identified as Abigail Paez, arrived with little Lucio in their arms at a police station. The little one was convulsing until he lost consciousness.
Police employees tried to resuscitate him without success, so they immediately called for the help of an ambulance so that the boy was transferred to a local hospital; however, the little boy lost his life on the way.
In the first statements, the boy’s mother and girlfriend indicated that they had been victims of an assault. However, this seemed suspicious to the authorities because both women had a suspicious attitude and, above all, because they did not show any signs of violence or aggression.
What was discovered by a forensic doctor who responded to the call from the hospital where Lucio came uncovered a cruel lie: the boy lost his life due to internal bleeding, due to a brutal beating that also caused him various contusions.
Juan Carlos Toulouse was the forensic doctor who performed the autopsy on little Lucio and after making his opinion known, his statements to the press were strong and forceful about the violence to which this little boy was subjected.
“In my almost 30 years of profession, I have never seen anything like this… I’m not talking about everything I had seen out of respect for the child and the family, but I have been a coroner for 27 years and 5 years in La Plata, I have seen children and trauma, but I never saw this like that,” said Toulouse, according to statements collected by the Infobae site.
A video has been posted to social media showing Magdalena Espósito Valiente being beaten to a bloody mess by fellow inmates in the prison in Argentina she is being held until her trail.
