An Arkansas waitress was fired after 3 years on the job from Oven and Tap after refusing to give 80% of her $4,400 tip to all of the other staff members, despite the restaurant never having any tip-sharing in the past.
The restaurant claims that she was not fired due to not sharing the tip but gave absolutely no reason she was fired, not to her or the news station covering the story, NBC affiliate KNWA.
“I was told that I was going to be giving my cash over to my shift manager, and I would be taking home 20%,” Brandt told KNWA.
