40-year-old Antwon Demon Hill talked a tough game but in the end he wasn't able to pull the trigger, while the Officer Andrew Ash was.
Officer Ash went to Alora Apartments in the 6300 block of Northwest 63rd Street in response to a reported disturbance. He arrived at about 8:16 p.m. Wednesday.
“Shortly thereafter, Mr. Hill reached into his pocket, produced a pistol and pointed it at Officer Ash,” Capt. Valerie Littlejohn said in a news release.
Officer Ash eventually shot one time as Mr. Hill fled.
