Cop Nearly Killed When things Escalate From a Question to a Shooting in a Split-Second

This video shows why some cops accidentally shoot people assuming they're about to pull a gun on them. Watch how a simple question nearly turned into a homicide case after this black man pulled a gun and began shooting at this cop, striking him in the leg.

The cop reacted incredibly quick himself and began firing back, also hitting the assailant who took numerous shots to his body.

The officer is said to be recovering from his wounds. The assailant is now facing attempted murder charges and will probably spend the rest of his life behind bars.
