ENID, Okla. (TCD) -- A woman was arrested and charged after allegedly harassing an employee at Little Caesar’s Pizza and calling him racial slurs over "crazy bread."
According to the affidavit, on March 30, Rachel Scheuerman entered a Little Caesar’s Pizza at 1725 W. Garriott and went through the drive-thru to order two pizzas and one crazy bread. The 17-year-old victim and employee told Scheuerman they were out of crazy bread, and she allegedly got angry.
According to the affidavit, Scheuerman shouted, "Are you serious!" She reportedly asked the victim, "Do you want a diploma?" He answered yes, and the suspect reportedly said "Listen here, n----r."
Scheuerman allegedly used the "n-word" two times and later stepped up to the window and slapped the victim two times across the face.
According to the affidavit, the victim was able to record the incident on his phone, and he showed it to authorities.
On March 31 at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Enid Police Department located Scheuerman’s van, and she was interviewed. When asked about what happened at Little Caesar’s Pizza, the suspect said she was "joking around with the kid, you know how it is," the affidavit says.
Police reportedly told Scheuerman about the recorded video, and she admitted to slapping the employee, and she said she called the victim the "n-word" only one time.
According to KFOR-TV, Scheuerman was arrested and charged with malicious harassment based upon race. Scheuerman could reportedly face up to one year and/or a fine of up to $1,000 for the charge.
