A Popeyes employee is being criminally investigated and drawing widespread scrutiny after a video showed him striking a female employee in the middle of a work shift.
The video was posted Monday on Twitter by user @freakymarko, captioned, "This Popeyes manager need to be arrested for putting his hands on a worker because she wanted to clock out."
The 48-second video has been viewed over 776,000 times, showing an argument between a male who is purportedly the manager at the Popeyes location and the female worker. It is unclear how the argument began.
