A man has been charged after two police officers were stabbed in central London, Scotland Yard confirmed.
A female officer and a male officer were stabbed in the Leicester Square area of London on Friday.
The female officer suffered potentially life-changing injuries after being knifed in the arm and has been discharged from the hospital.
The male officer who was stabbed three times in the neck and once in the chest remains under medical supervision, the Met said.
Mohammed Rahman, 24, of Westbourne Park Road in west London, has been charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was also charged with assault and two counts of threatening a person in a public place with a knife. These charges relate to three other police constables.
He was charged with robbery and possession of a knife.
Rahman will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
