Man Takes Swing At Bouncer Outside Of Chattanooga Bar, Bouncer Knocks Him Out And Leaves Him On Sidewalk

A fight at a Chattanooga bar between a bouncer and a customer was captured on video.

An attorney representing the customer says the altercation should've stopped at the door.

The security camera video, posted to YouTube, shows a bouncer at The Boneyard on Station Street kicking a man out of the bar. It shows the man getting physical with security before a bouncer punches him and knocks him unconscious.

The man lies in the road for about 30 seconds before a bouncer drags him to the side of the street. It then shows the security walk back into the bar and closes the doors. Moments later, people walk by and notice the man and begin helping him.

The Boneyard says the patron became violent while being removed from The Boneyard.

They say the private security team they hired defended themselves.

The Boneyard says they notified police and emergency medical services.

In a statement, The Boneyard says:

"The safety of our patrons, staff, and neighbors is a primary goal in the operation of our business. We strive to preemptively mitigate events like what happened on the 7th before they become an issue. We do not condone violence and will be reviewing the protocols of the private security team we hire and will make changes where necessary."
