Late Friday night, CHP H-32 assisted CHP - Dublin with a pursuit traveling I-580 (w/b) from our CHP Valley Division.
H-32 remained overhead as spike strips were deployed to disable the vehicle. A felony stop was conducted in the city of Oakland where of the occupants were detained and the driver was arrested.
Having a law enforcement aircraft over a pursuit allows ground officers to follow at a safer distance and arrest the suspect once the vehicle comes to a stop.
