One of the 8 people who were injured in two shootings that occurred on Saturday in two businesses in Maracaibo, Zulia state, in northwestern Venezuela, died early Sunday, while another of the victims is in serious condition.
The "most" of the other six people, "are stable", and some of them have been discharged and "are in their homes".
The authorities will be "aware of any health situation, especially the one that is presenting a more critical condition right now."
Police are trying to find those responsible for this criminal activity.
According to local authorities, "armed subjects opened fire, without saying a word," in a butcher shop and a supermarket located in two areas of Maracaibo, capital of this oil-rich region, which borders Colombia.
