A shocking incident of gunpoint robbery has been caught on surveillance camera in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred on the evening of January 15, 2023, when a woman had just pulled into the driveway of a residence on the city's southwest side. As she was taking her baby out of the backseat of her vehicle, a man approached her from behind and thrust a gun in her face.
According to the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division, the suspect arrived in a white sedan that can be seen cruising down the residential street in the surveillance footage. The man then turns the car around and stops near the home where the victim was parked.
The shocking video shows the man getting out of the car and robbing the woman at gunpoint while her infant child, in a carrier, sat between them. The victim was forced to hand over her bag and phone to the suspect before he fled the scene in the sedan.
