A recent incident on an American Airlines flight caused quite a stir after a passenger was forcefully removed from the plane.
The individual in question had simply requested a pre-departure beverage, a gin and tonic to be specific, but was repeatedly asked by the crew to leave.
A five-minute-long video clip captured the heated exchange between the man, who was seated in first class, and airport personnel.
Despite being asked multiple times to leave, the passenger remained seated, resulting in an argument with the staff.
About four minutes into the video, the passenger's phone was confiscated as he tried to record the incident, but it was soon shared on social media.
Ultimately, the man was kicked off the flight, forcibly pulled from his seat and handcuffed on the jet bridge, all while he can be heard screaming to "stop."
According to a travel blog called "View from the Wing," the man had asked why he was being removed, to which the officers present responded that he was not being respectful due to his argumentative behavior with the flight attendant.
