A carnival ride in Punjab, India, experienced a malfunction, leading to a terrifying incident where it crashed into the ground, causing injuries to multiple individuals. The incident, which occurred on Sunday September 4th, 2022, was captured on video and showed the ride malfunctioning while it was approximately 50 feet in the air, subsequently plummeting to the ground. The force of the impact caused the seats of several passengers to bounce.
The incident took place in Mohali, Punjab, where a traveling carnival was being held. Harsimran Singh Bal, the Deputy Superintendent of Police in Mohali, confirmed the occurrence and stated that 16 people sustained injuries as a result.
