Brazil- A video that shows the exact moment in which Ielly Gabriele Alves, aged 23, was coldly murdered by her boyfriend, Diego Fonseca Borges, aged 27, led the police to discover the brutal crime. The action took place in the early hours of this Sunday (05), in Jataí.
The entire situation was filmed on the young woman's own cell phone. In the recording, the suspect appears holding a gun when he suddenly shoots his partner in cold blood.
After the crime, he took the victim to Hospital das Clínicas, where she received treatment, but did not survive. Subsequently, the Military Police (PM) were called and arrived at the scene.
It was then that the case took a turn, as the story presented by the suspect had several inconsistencies. Given this, the military thought it best to take him to a Civil Police (PC) station to give a statement.
According to Diego, the case began when he and the young woman were traveling along Avenida Tancredo Neves in a Volkswagen Gol vehicle. At that moment, two individuals passed by on a motorcycle and shot them twice, hitting them in the chest.
However, the narrative soon came to an end when the police carried out a deeper investigation and located the recording on Ielly's cell phone, which clearly showed the exact moment of the crime.
Due to the differences in the argument and the recording, he was arrested in the act and will be charged with murder, which could still be classified as femicide – which carries a greater penalty.
