A vicious scene erupted outside a Las Vegas casino, where scores of teenagers engaged in a large-scale brawl believed to have been coordinated through social media channels.
The altercation commenced on the evening of March 9th at the junction of West Lone Mountain Road and Rancho Drive.
Leading up to the chaos, online postings promoting a gathering dubbed the 'Santa Fe Station Shutdown' circulated widely, rallying teenagers to converge at the Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino.
Upon arrival, however, the group encountered resistance from casino security, who barred their entry.
The catalyst for the altercation remains uncertain, yet footage disseminated across social media platforms depicts adolescents pursuing each other along sidewalks, exchanging blows.
The skirmish soon spilled onto the streets, with juveniles pushing and striking one another amidst a backdrop of onlookers capturing the spectacle on their devices.
Local proprietors recounted having to secure their establishments, fearful for the safety of their staff.
Among the chaotic scenes, a police cruiser was observed stationed at a nearby gas station, its lights flashing but no audible sirens.
Eyewitness Corinne Enochs recounted to KSNV, "The cops were already here parked in this parking lot...and there were some right here but they just had their lights flashing with no siren but they were just parked."
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
