At least four N.C. A&T students were among the 11 people injured Friday in a hit-and-run crash that happened at an off-campus party near downtown Greensboro.
The most serious injuries reported were broken ribs, and none of the injuries was considered life-threatening, Greensboro Police said in a news release.
No arrests had been reported as of Monday evening, though police said officers had identified a vehicle of interest in the case. The victims’ names will be available only after the investigation is completed, police said.
Few details of what happened were available. Police did say the crash took place around 7:21 p.m. near the intersection of South Eugene and West Whittington streets, about 3 miles from campus.
Greensboro Police officers were in the area assisting with crowd control and traffic at the time the hit-and-run occurred.
