One man is dead and another seriously wounded in a bloody and unprovoked knife attack inside a Bronx laundromat early Thursday morning — with the vicious slashing caught on shocking surveillance video.
Footage obtained by The Post shows the knife-wielding stranger casually walking up to the first victim as he sat in a chair at the all-night 303 Laundromat on East 170th Street around 2:40 a.m. and repeatedly stabbing him in the back and torso — leaving pools of blood splattered on the floor.
The killer, who was holding a bundle of clothes with one hand throughout the assault, then walks out of sight, but returns seconds later and enters through the front door.
The wounded victim, identified by sources as a 47-year-old homeless man, then stumbles around caked in blood and at one point hurls a chair at the front door after his assailant flees.
He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital after cops responded to a 911 call at the scene. He was listed in stable condition at the hospital, according to police.
The attack on the second victim, who was stabbed in the legs and torso, is not captured in the footage.
Police said he was later pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital and has not yet been identified.
“There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing,” the NYPD said.
