Three alleged gang members are accused of organized crime in the Denver area.
Three 18-year-olds and a 17-year-old were arrested for their involvement in an organized crime enterprise, following an extensive investigation by the Aurora Police.
Lennon Melgares, 18 (Edgewater), Xavier Chavez, 18 (Aurora), Jayden Velarde, 18 (Morrison) and a 17-year-old (Lakewood).
Chavez was arrested on September 5 by the Aurora SWAT Team; the others were arrested the next day in Jefferson County.
The suspects are linked to various violent crimes and face charges under the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act, including:
Attempted first-degree murder
Conspiracy to commit first-degree murder
Aggravated intimidation of a victim or witness
Felony menacing
