A teenager was taken to hospital after a mask-wearing thug whacked him in the head with a hurl at an Applegreen in north Dublin.
Video footage shows the teen being viciously attacked by a man wearing a black mask over his mouth with his hood up. The young man was at the counter of the garage’s shop when the thug ran inside and whacked his head with the wooden hurl.
He immediately fell to the floor and was hit once more by the hurl-wielding man. The teen was taken to Beaumont Hospital for medical assistance. His injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.
