Horrifying images reveal the moment a tourist was struck by a massive wave and swept into the sea while posing for a picture.
Roni Josua Simanjuntak, 20, is feared dead after being carried away by the sea around 8.30 am on Sunday (October 13). He had been strolling on the rocks with his mates along the Indonesian coastline.
One of his buddies captured him standing dangerously close to the edge as the giant wave crashed into the rocks, sending a spray high into the sky.
His friends, meanwhile, were taking pictures at a safer distance. In the fresh footage, Roni can be seen raising his arms just before he is engulfed by the crashing wave and pulled out to sea.
