California elementary assistant principal arrested for allegedly molesting at least eight children between the ages of 6 and 10 in his office.
David Lane Braff Jr., 42, is accused of violating at least 8 children however authorities fear it could be much higher.
While working at McKevett Elementary in Santa Paula from 2015-2019, prosecutors say Braff molested children in his office.
Braff is "accused of a number of special allegations and aggravating factors in the criminal complaint," according to a news release, "including that the crimes involved planning and sophistication and that the children entrusted to the defendant’s care were particularly vulnerable."
Authorities are increasingly concerned that his assaults may have happened beyond his employment at McKevett Elementary.
"While Braff's full employment history is not known at this time, it is believed that Braff also worked at other schools in Southern California and may have been a volunteer for youth-oriented organizations," Ventura County DA said.
Bragg is in jail with bail set at $3M.
