CCSD school board will vote on a $1 MILLION settlement for an incident where a student was 'slammed' to the ground by an officer.
Video shows one student detained, another getting detained, and a third thrown to the ground by a CCSD officer.
The incident happened in February 2023 outside Durango High School in Las Vegas.
The officers were investigating a report of a firearm near the campus.
CCSD officials decided not to fire Officer Lt. Jason Elfberg after the investigation.
The school board will vote on a $1 million settlement during tomorrow's meeting, with no public discussion.
