YouTuber starts crying after being charged with attempted murder, says he is innocent because he has a lot of YouTube subscribers.
Erik Van Conover was charged with attempted murder for allegedly trying to run over a police officer while driving drunk.
"If anyone dares try to test my mental competence, I will eviscerate every single person with my intelligence right now. And that's not being egotistical," the YouTuber with 3 million subscribers whined in court.
"'This seems to be a massive misunderstanding. I’m exactly who I say I am. I’m a YouTuber."
Conover is accused of mowing over New Hampshire Bartlett Patrol Officer Cameron Emmett during a traffic stop.
He allegedly hit the officer, sending him 20 feet.
Conover kept driving for nearly 30 miles before he was successfully pulled over.
The YouTuber was allegedly arrested days before the incident on DUI charges.
Conover released a video on YouTube one month ago bragging about his sobriety.
