Woman who fled ‘racist America’ for Africa desperately wants to return:
"I'd rather go back to America and deal with the racism in America before I sit here in Africa and deal with the troubles: robbery, fraud, scams, high cost of living, lack of snacks, lack of food, unreliable electricity, hot water problems, and the wildlife issues. There are scorpions, big spiders, and large lizards in the house. These animals are all over the place, even sleeping in the same room with you. People also try to take advantage of you, thinking you're rich.
I'm really trying to understand how Americans come to Africa and are happy. For me, I'm ready to leave. I used to say that if it's up to me, it will be, and I still feel that way. I want to move my businesses back to America, open a dental clinic, and all the plans I had over there. I appreciate the people here, and I have fun outside, but when I come back home, it doesn't feel right. Home is supposed to feel comforting and happy, but I'm not happy here. Living in a place where you see only turkeys, ducks, chickens, and malnourished cattle outside is tough."
