A Liberian national was convicted of felony animal cruelty after she filmed herself torturing animals for engagement on YouTube.
28-year-old Anigar Monsee is now claiming to be the victim and is launching a GoFundMe to stop President Trump from deporting her.
"Right now, I’m facing the most terrifying moment of my life. I may be sent to jail or even deported over something I never imagined would put our lives in jeopardy: cooking traditional meals with animals like chicken and frog."
Monsee's claims that she was simply "cooking traditional meals" are completely false.
The woman filmed herself torturing a pigeon with a dull knife for 10 minutes, plucking feathers of birds while they were still alive, throwing the animals in boiling water, torturing a rabbit, and more.
She would do the horrific acts at the request of her followers, who would allegedly pay her.
Monsee will be sentenced in July.
