The Mexican beauty influencer who was executed on a livestream in Mexico had allegedly dated a cartel hitman.
23-year-old Valeria Marquez was shot and killed during a livestream this week.
According to local reports, cartel leader ‘Doble R’ got mad that Marquez was getting expensive gifts from her followers so he decided to execute her.
Doble R is a member of the violent Jalisco Nueva Generacion cartel.
The cartel leader is also accused of killing a Venezuelan model in 2012 who was found in a sewage canal.
Just a couple hours before she was shot, Marquez said someone had tried delivering her a gift and she joked that they were trying to k*ll her.
“Maybe they were going to kill me or something.”
Before she passed, she said she was being threatened and said if anything happened, her ex-boyfriend was to blame.
“I've changed. I don't go out anymore, I don't drink anymore, I've stopped being around thugs, I'm a good girl.”
