INSANE Footage Shows A Car Smashing Through A Cafe In Taiwan, Injuring 13

This is the horrifying moment a car crashed into a cafe, injuring 13 people in Taiwan.

Su, 47, the driver of a black vehicle, ran a red light and ploughed into the coffee shop along Fuji Road in Hualien City.

CCTV footage shows the car speeding through an intersection before losing control and veering off its lane, slamming into the brunch restaurant at the street corner on May 18.

The vehicle struck two customers sitting on chairs while waiting in line, sending glass shards flying across the floor.

The victims were knocked unconscious upon impact.

Diners can be heard screaming in shock as one of the restaurant staff rushed forward and tried to push the car back to prevent it from rolling further over the injured pair.

Local media reported that a mother and daughter directly hit by the vehicle sustained serious injuries. The mother suffered a pneumothorax and fractured ribs, while her daughter sustained a deep laceration to her thigh and knee.

Meanwhile, three restaurant staff, seven other customers, and the driver sustained minor injuries, many suffering glass cuts from the shattered panels and debris.
