A large group of people looted Adriana's Gold Palace jewelry store in downtown Los Angeles last night. Earlier on that same day, this jewelry store had put out a warning on their Instagram stories about ICE being near Huntington Park (IG @ adrianas_gold_palace).
A female protester pleaded with the looters to stop, saying "It's against the cause". But she could not stop them.
LAPD officers also saw the looters but did nothing and just drove past them.
This is what happens when you try to appease the mob.
