Total Lunatic Who Was Unhappy With His Domino's Pizza Delivery Drives To The Shop To Assault The Delivery Man
77 days ago
On Friday, September 19, I was delivering to Anthony Cole at 61A Maple Street in Essex Junction Vermont. When I pulled into the driveway which was shaped like a ‘U’ Anthony Cole was pacing around on his porch and looking angrily at me.
I got the pizza out of the Domino's Hot Bag and started walking up the stairs to bring it to his front door. I handed him the credit card slip. He grabbed it out of my hand aggressively and made a slash through the tip within my vision and then signed it and again angrily shoved it back at me, so I shoved his pizza at him and he grabbed it. I didn’t say anything to him.
I started walking down the steps when Anthony Cole threw the entire box of hot pizza at the back of my head and screamed he was going to get me fired over and over. I went to my car and sat there for a minute, unsure of what to do. I turned my car on and pulled back out towards the way I came in. Anthony Cole then I can see running down the stairs with 2 young children in his hands, a boy and girl both crying. He is screeching the entire time he is going to get me fired. He then pulls out in the opposite direction of the driveway, making a left-hand turn onto Maple Street towards the 5 Corners and Domino's.
I was fearful for what he might do to the rest of the staff so I called Essex Police department and told them he threw a pizza at me and he was really angry and they needed to send an officer immediately. I drove behind him and witnessed him driving erratically around cars in front of him, passing them illegally on the left over and over. I lost him because he must’ve been going at least 50 mph in that 30 mph zone.
When I got to Domino's, he was inside without the children. He left them crying alone in the car as he went inside. As I got there I pulled out my phone to record in case he did anything to me because he had already thrown a hot pizza at my head a few minutes beforehand.
