Gerardo “Jerry” Estrada, 30, was killed while walking home from work.
Police said an LAPD officer hit him while responding to help set a perimeter for a felony suspect.
Estrada was found trapped under a parked car, and despite efforts to save him, he died at the scene.
Investigators said the officer wasn’t speeding, though they’re still determining how fast he was going.
