INSANE Footage Shows The Massive Landslide Caused By Quarry Blasting In Bosnia
26 days ago
This was the moment that a landslide was triggered by rock blasting in a quarry in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on April 6, 2024, which was caught on video.
What is known so far is that the event took place at around 6:30 p.m. at a quarry situated in Bijela, near Mostar.
As is depicted in the video, it appears that the rock is fracturing in a large area next to the one blasted at the slope’s toe, and simultaneously the landslide can be seen crushing down.
Two people got injured in the event, where miraculously there were no casualties, and a large number of cars got buried under the rubble, while two more ended up in the nearby river.
The large amount of debris can then be seen ending up in the river, causing a violent wave and blocking the valley.
