A disturbing incident unfolded at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore, Wisconsin, on February 6th 2025 around 4:29 p.m.
Deputies responded to reports of a man causing a disturbance inside the church, shouting about “Jesus Christ Almighty and the Devil.”
The man, identified as Aaron Peterson (38), became aggressive, throwing metal candle holders and refusing to comply with police commands.
When trying to steal the holy eucharist, he fell backward from a raised area, striking his head, and continued resisting arrest.
He was eventually subdued with a Taser and transported to the hospital for treatment.
