Former Georgia beauty queen killed her boyfriend’s toddler son in a jealous rage because she wanted to have a child of her own.
Trinity Poague, 20, is on trial in Sumter County, Georgia, for the January 2024 murder of 18-month-old Romeo Angeles.
She is accused of killing the toddler in her boyfriend Julian Williams’s dorm room while he was out picking up pizza.
Poague texted Williams, saying his son was not breathing.
Williams rushed back, found Romeo unresponsive, and drove him to the ER.
The child never regained stability and was pronounced dead.
Medical exam revealed Romeo suffered “blunt-force trauma” to the head and torso until his brain was “useless.”
Poague is charged with m*rder, aggravated battery, and child cruelty.
