Snellville, GA — A male middle school student was caught on video assaulting a female student.
He took her cellphone, and when she asked for it back, he tossed her and kicked her in the head.
Authorities say the girl was hit and suffered visible injuries; the student who recorded the incident shared the footage with school officials.
Both students have been suspended. The school and what the students have reported do not line up.
