The wife of Renee Nicole Good appears to have admitted that they "stopped" in the middle of the road to oppose ICE operations, in a statement to the Washington Post.
Rebecca Good has released a statement following the incident in Minneapolis.
"On Wednesday, January 7th, we stopped to support our neighbors. We had whistles. They had guns," said Good, according to the Washington Post.
"We were raising our son to believe that no matter where you come from or what you look like, all of us deserve compassion and kindness."
"Renee lived this belief every day. She is pure love. She is pure joy. She is pure sunshine."
CNN has obtained footage showing that the Honda Pilot driven by Good was parked in the street for three minutes before the incident.
A neighbor who witnessed the incident says that Good was "blocking traffic, so they couldn't progress."
