Chris Cuomo In Hot Water After Calling For Violence Against Conservative CNN Commentator Scott Jennings Because He Used The Term 'Illegal Alien'

Chris Cuomo is catching serious heat after making comments that many viewers are calling reckless, inflammatory, and wildly over the line.
During a heated rant, Cuomo appeared to suggest that CNN commentator Scott Jennings could face physical violence for referring to illegal immigrants as “illegal.” And instead of condemning that idea, Cuomo leaned into it — hard.
“If somebody beats your a*s because you're being rude and disrespectful and causing division in this country,” Cuomo said, continuing that such language is “causing distress and pain all over the streets and making people want to hurt one another.”
Yes, that was said out loud. On air.
Cuomo didn’t stop there. He doubled down with a warning that sounded less like commentary and more like a threat-by-proxy: “As the expression goes, FAFO. Be careful. If you want to be a tough guy, there are plenty of tough guys out there.”
The remarks immediately sparked backlash online, with critics accusing Cuomo of casually justifying political violence while simultaneously warning about political violence — a contradiction many found hard to ignore.
