Several opossition brigades including The Islamic front, Al Nusra front and Fajr Al Sham attacked the hospital wich was used as a base by the Syrian Army. It holds a valuable strategic point in Aleppo countryside. The hospital was held by FSA forces in 2012 until the Syrian Army made major advantage in the area while capturing the hospital and using it as barracks for own forces.
