A fearless convenience store employee took down an armed bandit who was attempting to rob the store early Wednesday morning by body-slamming him into the ground and holding him until he was arrested. At about 1:30 a.m., store employee Joe Williams was finishing his shift at the Arco AmPm store on San Pablo Avenue when a man pointed a gun at the store's cashier and demanded all the money in the register. Surveillance video of the incident shows the cashier grabbing the gunman's arm and trying to twist the weapon out of his hand. During the struggle, Williams came behind the suspect, grabbed him and used his body weight to slam him into the ground, thereby subduing him. "I was real nervous but at the time the adrenalin just took over and I didn't think twice about it," said Williams. After pulling a move straight out of the WWE, Williams held him down while the other clerk placed the gun on the counter.
