A group of high school girls fell through a stage during a performance Saturday night, causing dozens to be transported to the hospital. Two hundred and fifty freshman and sophomores from Rosary High School in Fullerton were on the stage as part of its annual Red and Gold fundraiser for school events, Lt. Tim Schmidt told the Daily News. The girls, dressed in yellow and assorted costumes, were jumping on the stage in jubilation when the entire front collapsed at 11 p.m. PST, he said. The students dropped between 10 and 15 feet, police said.
