Terry Robinson, 21, says he was handcuffed and put inside a squad car by St. Louis Metropolitan Police when he hadn't done anything wrong. He says police even went so far as to pretend to drive him back to the police station to intimidate him, so he recorded their conversation. Robinson, who has been arrested in the past, says these same two officers have been harassing him and asking that he give them the name of someone they can plant a gun on, reports local affiliate KMOV. The officers told him "I have a fully-loaded 38″ when Robinson asked where the gun was, but they never presented it to him. Robinson said they also let him know that he'd pay a price if he refused to give up a name. "If you don't give me anything in the next 24-hours then I'll write this case up as you ran from me but you got away. But I know who you are and you had this gun." While in the police cruiser, Robinson asked for more time to find someone to set up. However, after the ride in the police cruiser was over, Robinson contacted his mother, who reached out to his attorney. The recording has since been turned over to the authorities. Robinson says he faces up to nine years in jail if he gets in trouble with the law again so he has been on the straight and narrow and even enrolled in a G.E.D. program, but the two officers just wouldn't leave him alone. St. Louis Police have not released any details on the progress of their investigation into the officer's conduct.
