Burglar dies during attempted robbery of a gas station

Two men tried to rob a gas deposit, late on Tuesday (7), one of them ended up dead and another escaped by stealing a car and taking a child hostage. The occurrence was recorded in Alvorada 4, in Our Lady of the Presentation in Northern Natal area. According to information passed on by the police, the duo came armed to rob the gas tank, however, an unidentified person passing by the local witnessed the occurrence and fired toward suspects. One of them, identified as Johnny Alex Paulino Fernandes, 20, was shot in the chest and died at the scene. 's accomplice ran away and stole a Renault Clio, the sister of a peace officer. He took the woman who was driving, but escaped with the child who was in the car hostage. Shortly thereafter, he abandoned the Clio with the child inside and stole another vehicle to escape.
