Hillary Clinton called for "resistance and persistence" and for Democrats to "keep fighting" in a new video message to the party.
Clinton's three-minute message was recorded for Democrats gathering in Atlanta, where a new party chairman is going to be picked tomorrow.
The top two contenders to lead the DNC are Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), the first Muslim to serve in the U.S. House, and former Labor Secretary Tom Perez.
Clinton did not mention President Donald Trump by name, but she applauded those who have gone to GOP lawmakers' town hall events.
The former First Lady said among the millions of people speaking up against the Trump agenda are future leaders, including future members of Congress and future presidents.
"Let resistance plus persistence equal progress for our party and our country," she said, adding that the party's "best days are ahead" if Democrats stand together for what they believe.
"Keep fighting and keep the faith and I'll be right there with you every step of the way," she ended.
